Xbox Music Replaces Zune Media

Microsoft has launched it’s replacement for Zune media. Simply known as Xbox Music, this service will be available on Xbox 360 games console from Tuesday 16 October.   Microsoft is hoping that this new service will be able to take on the might of Apple’s iTunes after the failure of the Zune media service which was discontinued in June.    Users will be able to choose between a free subscription service that will allow listners to stream music with occassional advertisement and a monthly subscription which is £8.99 ($9.99)    Xbox Music will also be available as a Windows-based deviced after the launch of Window 8 at the end of the month but will not be available on Windows 7 or Windows Phone...
